Liverpool’s defence crisis has gone from bad to worse as make shift center back Captain Jordan Henderson is out injured.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson sustained an injury just 26 minutes into the Merseyside derby as Everton was leading by a goal.
This further worsened Liverpool’s defensive situation. He was replaced by Nat Philips as the game eventually ended 2 nil in favour of the Everton side at Anfield.
In a press conference after the game, Klopp said:
“Henderson’s injury looks bad”
Jurgen Klopp says Jordan Henderson’s injury ‘doesn’t look good’ and that his medical staff are not feeling positive as the Liverpool captain faces a scan.
According to Paul Joyce of the Liverpool Echo, Hendo has undergone the scan and set to miss out on the second leg of his sides champions league game as RB Leipzig. It is expected he’ll miss 5 games in total.
