Bethesda’s next idea is a huge surprise: the publisher has teased a new Indiana Jones title today.
Though we don’t know much about the title yet—the reveal was just a small teaser video—being it’s produced by MachineGames, the same studio behind the Wolfenstein series. Bethesda Chief Todd Howard will serve as an executive director. The title is being developed under the current Lucasfilm Games label, which was revealed yesterday as part of a renewed focus on Disney and Lucasfilm games.
Although the specifics are thin, Disney promises that “the game is going to tell a completely original, stand-alone story set at the height of the career of the famous adventurer.” The teaser video suggests that the game is going to take place in Rome.
There’s no news yet on when the game will be published or what platforms it will be on. It doesn’t even have a complete title at this stage.
