Rema has taken to social media to react to the arrest of his fellow artists, Omah Lay and Tems.
After the arrest of Nigerian musicians, Omah Lay and Tems in Uganda, many musicians have taken to their social media pages to react as the two artists were arrested on December 14 and detained by the Police in Uganda for violating the country’s COVID-19 restrictions during their performance in the country.
It has been alleged that Ugandan artist, Babe Cool, complained to the police to arrest them for performing during the pandemic season.
Many Nigerian artists, including Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, and others, after hearing this sad news, took to social media to plead with the Ugandan police to release Omah Lay and Tems.
The latest artist who has joined the tall list of the celebrities who are seeking justice for Lay and Tems is Rema, as he took to his official Twitter handle to plead with the authorities in Uganda to release the artists.
