RB Leipzig Facing Almost As Many Injury Problems As Liverpool For Champions League Tie.
RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann has his own injury issues to contend with as he takes on a manager who has been dealing with them all season on Tuesday night.
Jurgen Klopp has battled against injury, illness and ill-fortune throughout the campaign as he’s seen a raft of fitness problems derail Liverpool’s season.
But while the Reds are still missing several of their household names, Leipzig are set to be without up to five of their players for the game – including the exciting January signing Dominik Szoboszlai, who impressed against the Reds for Salzburg in the Champions League last season.
Influential Swedish midfielder Emil Forsberg is also out with a knee problem, with Benjamin Henrichs and Konrad Laimer also missing with their own knee issues.
Forward, Justin Kluivert, is also a doubt for the game tonight.
Liverpool are set to be without James Milner after he limped off in the defeat at Leicester, while Fabinho is also still absent after missing that game completely.
Ben Davies and Divock Origi rejoined training after their own injury issues, and while Naby Keita did train with the squad on Monday he hasn’t travelled to face his former club.
These injury problems from both teams arguably is going to take away the beauty of the game with host of big stars not going to feature for their clubs.
