The round of 32 of this season’s Europa League would take place next week for the first legs and the following for the second legs. But with Covid-19 still on the rise, many countries have issued travel restrictions and did has also affected Arsenal’s game, since flights from the UK are also not allowed. UEFA therefore announced that Neutral grounds shall be used for both legs.
UEFA have confirmed Benfica vs. Arsenal will take place at neutral grounds. The first leg which is Benfica’s ‘home’ game will take place from the Stadio Olimpico whereas the second leg will take place from the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens.
UEFA have also stated that in the event of a draw over two legs, away goals will count double.
