Mr. Eazi has taken to social media to announce the release of Omah Lay and Tems from Uganda police custody.
Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr. Eazi, took to his official Twitter handle and announced that Omah Lay and Tems’s case has been resolved and expressed appreciation to all those who helped the singers who are in Uganda recover their freedom.
The two Nigerian artists were arrested and detained by the Police in Uganda for violating the country’s COVID-19 rules during their performance in the country after Ugandan artist ‘Babe Cool’ reported to the police to arrest them for performing during the pandemic season.
Mr. Eazi on Twitter tweeted;
“Pleased to hear that My brothers and sisters are to be released & the case is resolved, Big love to everyone who worked on this & Special thanks to @adoniaayebare & The Government of Uganda, Chief Of Justice In Uganda . African relations must keep fostering strong!”
