His Excellency President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo releases his first set of ministerial nominees.

President Akuffo-Addo releases his first set of ministerial nominees. For the first time, he has reduced the number of ministers drastically from 127 to 85. This was indicated in the earlier presser released by the director of communication Mr. Eugene Kofi Bentum Arhin.

This undiluted list sounds shocking to many.

The following have been nominated by the president as minister designates.

1. Mathew Opoku Prempeh – Energy Minister.

2. John Peter Amawu – Railways.

3. Francis Asenso Boakye- works and Housing.

4. Samuel Abu Jinapo – Lands and Natural Resources.

5. Mavis Hawa Koomson – Fisheries.

6. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful – Communication.

7. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah Esq – information.

8. Dr. Afriyie Akoto – Agriculture.

9. Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng – Trade and Industry.

10. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum – Education.
