Drew University student reported missing, possibly headed to NYC

A Drew University student missing for days possibly was headed toward New York City, according to a Twitter post by an NYPD chief.

The Madison Police Department in New Jersey released a missing person’s flyer for Ajay Sah, 22, an international student from Napal. He was reported missing by the university on Jan. 22 at 3:38 p.m. Friends and fellow students last saw him on campus around 8 p.m. on Jan. 19.

Police described Sah as standing about 5′6″ tall and weighing around 125 pounds.

People with information are urged to call the Madison Police Department at 973-593-3000.

NYPD Chief of Community Affairs Bureau Jeffrey Maddrey posted on Twitter that the missing man was last seen heading toward New York City.

A social media post by an alleged family member claims that Sah boarded a train en route to Penn Station shortly before 11 p.m. on Jan. 19 and didn’t return to his dorm.
