The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwifery Association (GRNMA) confirms that 15 nurses and midwives has contracted the deadly coronavirus as at this month.
The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwifery Association indicates that this was as a result of the unavailability of personal protective clothes that government was not able to provide.
The association is therefore urging the government to ensure adequate supply of PPE’s to safeguard frontline health workers as the virus is strongly resurging in the country.
