Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng at the end of the season.
The Blues have finalised a deal in principle with the 32-year-old’s agent, and he is now set to move to Stamford Bridge on a free transfer when his contract expires in the summer.
Boateng, who has previously played in the Premier League with Manchester City, has lots of experience under his belt. He is a world cup winner with the Germany National Team, a champions league winner and on track to win a club world cup this week.
The 32 year old German who has a Ghanaian heritage’s addition to Chelsea’s defense would ensure that there’s more experience added to the already rich defense. Thomas Tuchel would be glad to get a player of his pedigree for free!
