Speculations are that, the President is likely to impose restrictions on movement, that is,a partial lockdown due to the alarming surge in Covid-19 cases in the country. As we have realized, Covid-19 has taken the lives of many proficient leaders in our country, the Late Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings, National Security Coordinator Joshua Kyeremeh, NPP Founding Member Dr. Amoako Tuffor, MD of Best Point Savings and Loans Philip Odei Asare and many others.
It will be for the safety of the nation if a lockdown is imposed and restrictions on movements, in order to force Ghanaians to follow strictly, the laid down systems and measures to combat the spread of the virus.
For this reason, there is the possibility of inflation of goods in the country. This has been one of the reasons why the President and the leaders of our country have been reluctant to impose restrictions on movements. Some Ghanaians have refused to adhere to the measures proposed by the President to wear their nose mask and observe social distancing as the new-variant of the virus has been identified in the country.
It is very important to protect yourself from contracting this deadly virus as it can affect your loved ones and your children who may not have a strong immune system.
